AOL Technical Support says, "You can use Internet Explorer, Firefox or other alternate browser with AOL. There is an issue with the AOL caching proxy server and the AOL web browser. The workaround is to open a separate browser in order to access [the HHP Posting Abilities]. You most likely will run into problems if you use AOL's browser."

What this means is that you should avoid using the web browser that AOL supplies with their installation. You can log on using AOL, then minimize the AOL window, and bring up the regular Internet Explorer or alternate browser that is on your computer. There are a number of sites, including Harris Polls that I participate in, that suggest AOL users not use the supplied AOL browser.
