"Colloidal Silver."
| |
Do you know what this is? Have you heard of it before? I had not until a couple months ago. I actually found out about this great product for a reason besides outbreak relief. My boyfriend had a chalazion on his eye lid (not a fun thing let me tell you). One of my co-workers who tries to use homeopathic remedies as much as possible suggested to me colloidal silver, amongst a couple other recipes. Being the forever curious science major, that I am, I started looking up the properties of this liquid. Well, I was pretty intrigued when I started reading on it. It's a natural anti-microbial, antiviral, antibiotic. The way it works, is not so much to kill the virus, bacteria, microbe, BUT to kill the enzymes these pesky guys use to breath, thus suffocating them. Bought a bottle of it (at 10 ppm, or 10 particles per million) at whole foods, and started giving it a shot. Cleared up his problem within a week, when the only other solution I could find online was to take him to the doctor and have it cut out (yuck!). So now to the real good stuff. I practice episodic treatment, not suppressive. I don't like to be on a constant dose of medicine, I did that for awhile and I just found it pointless, and expensive (I don't have insurance). I don't like pharmaceuticals. Well, I started to have a recurrence, swollen inguinal gland, tingles in the back of the thighs, and to my horror, what appeared to be the start of a blister. I took 400mg of my acyclovir, and also ingested a teaspoon of colloidal silver, along with applying some with a cotton ball directly to the blister site. I've also been reading on this stuff and seen where women, who are in the height of an outbreak will dampen a panty liner with colloidal and wear it. This is evidently EXTREMELY helpful. I took my regular dose of acyclovir that night, along with the next day too. On the third day all symptoms were gone. The blister never came in completely, my inguinal glands went down, and the tingles are gone.I am pretty confident the colloidal helped boost the antivirals. Anyone else had some great success with this stuff? At birth we come At death we go... Bearing nothing. |
