"Pjur Med Clean spray -- A supplemental treatment"

Hey, guys, I'm not sure if this will particularly aid in treating a herpes OB, but it certainly hasn't hurt me or my girlfriend thus far. There's a "personal cleaning spray lotion" made by Pjur, a German company that makes personal products like lubricants and condoms. It's advertised as a sex toy cleaner that you can also use on sensitive skin, and since it's advertised as anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-viral, I figured I'd spray it on a sore. I feel like it may have healed faster than normal (though it was my second OB that I tested on, so I'm guessing it may have been my body being better at fighting the virus). I've since looked up the various ingredients with very long names like phenoxyethanol and have discovered that it's really just anti-bacterial (gram positive and negative) and kills yeast and "lipophilic, enveloped viruses;" no idea if herpes is that kind of virus, but when you've got open sores on your privates, keeping the area clean certainly can't hurt (it's just for external use, and I can only attest to it working well genitally).

I'm sure there are a thousand other antimicrobial ointments for sensitive areas out there, but this is the one I happened to come across. Besides, if you're looking for a good spray disinfectant for your silicone or rubber toys, it's safe for that, too
