"BIO 88 - Has anyone tried this out?"

I'm curious about the "nosodes" topic. Can something like that even be effective taken orally?
Thanks for any input!

They claim to treat everything from polio to the flu with this. About the only positive effect I can see for the patient from this is the placebo effect and a lighter wallet to carry around.

"Nosodes are homeopathic remedies that are made from the specific products of a particular disease. This can be tissue containing the actual disease agents or tissue affected by those agents. Sometimes nosodes are made from vaccines containing the organisms. The nosodes are prepared in a diluted and potentized form just like all other homeopathic medicine. There is no potential for an animal to become infected with a given disease agent from a nosode because of the pharmaceutical process that occurs which dilutes and inactivates any viable organisms. Nosodes seem to work most effectively, homeopathically, when they are given near or at the time of exposure. For instance, giving a Parvovirus Nosode immediately before and after a potential exposure would provide the best protection from the Nosode."

HRPZ Formula III, found here on this website, has the nosodes in it. It is in spray form used orally and topically.

Well, I don't know how much proof there is that homeopathic remedies are effective period.

I'm not about to look at any links, but just seeing "cure" in the url doesn't bode well. I'm not beyond believing that any number of things might give some people relief of symptoms, but there's no way a homeopathic therapy is going to cure Herpes. If anyone had a legitimate cure for Herpes it would be big news. Especially since we haven't found a cure for any viruses at all. I wouldn't put any faith in this stuff.

C.

"But it is not only in ancient history that we find compelling evidence that nosodes can and do provide effective immunization. Take Polio as an example:

1850-Taylor Smith in Johannesburg, South Africa immunized 82 people with "Lathyrus". 12 of the 82 were in direct contact with disease in an epidemic area. There were no cases reported in any of the 82-a 100% success.
More recent times-Grimmer in Chicago `vaccinated' 5,000 young children with "Lathyrus". None of them developed polio.
Heisfelder, in a study between 1956-58, immunized over 6,000 children with this nosode. There were no side effects and no cases of polio.
In 1975, during a polio epidemic in Buenos Aires, "Lathyrus" was given to 40,000 people. Not one of these developed polio."

ive been using bio88 for a few years now. im not sure it would cure polio but the common cold it works for sure. whenever i start to feel stuffed up or sore throat coming on i take 5 drops every hour for the first 2 days then 5 drops 3 times a day until its cleared up- usually doesnt take that long but it may. my lymphnodes were swollen last year and i couldnt flush them i tried everything and the only thing that worked for me was bio88

i highly recommend it
