"Tea Tree Oil"

So I've never really been a huge fan of alternative treatments, etc but after 9 months without any outbreaks...I'd gotten two over the course of two months. The one was triggered by me being sick and another travel/stress but a few days ago I noticed the tingly feeling even though I'm on suppressive meds.

I upped my dosage and was still getting a prickly feeling. So I figured, what the heck I had heard good things about tea tree oil...I'll try it out. Picked some up today and wow...instant relief. I can still feel a small tingling, but it's infinitely better than it was. And the skin where I applied it feels much softer, less red already. So...fingers crossed it's helping.

Now the smell is not great, I feel like an old man, but I'll definitely take the smell over another outbreak. So...we'll see what happens in the next few days. Thanks for the suggestion!

LOL, I've heard the smell can be off-putting! I'm glad it has helped you. It does seem like one of the better bets in the alternative realm.

C.

Yeah, I'm actually rather pleased with the results. Things down there feel much better than they have the last 2 months. It's not swollen, it's not irritated, I even wore a thong today!

I used the tea tree oil last night when I took a bath and it worked well to just calm the area. I also shaved and am prone to getting shaving bumps around my bikini area, so I dabbed some on the areas that were looking irritated. Using it in the bath also helped a lot with the smell.

I woke up this morning and everything now feels very soft and well...wonderful. No gross shaving bumps. Oh tea tree oil..."When I think about you I touch myself!!" I am very pleasantly surprised.
