"IMULUX Ozzy rip off"

LAST EDITED ON Oct-13-06 AT 03:15 AM (CDST)

I bought treatment, costing me $324.78 (money I work hard for & I am a single Mother) & the lamp can only be used in America, this has left me very upset, I rang an electrician & he said no way will it work, do I get my money back or what, what a TERRIBLE THING to do to people. I bought it from the site given here.

Dr Stoneburner this isn't right.

I cannot speak for Imulux as to what they will do for you as I have absolutely no connection with them. I expect that Dr. Stoneburner will see your post and respond in a favorable fashion. You should not wait a year.

I would think that the company should have known that many countries power outlets are provided with 240 Volts rather than the 120 that is used in the USA and Canada and should have not sold you a unit that is not compatible in your part of the world. I'm sure it's an oversight on their part.

I deleted your other post since I've answered your question in this one.

   Dear Imulux Ozzy,
I am sorry for your unfortunate experience. If you contact me I can see that a proper voltage adaptor is sent to you. You might note that the order page on the Imulux site makes note that you will need an adaptor if you are outside the United States. Apparently you did not order an adaptor and we can only assume that you have voltage adaptors available locally.
Sorry for the mix up but we will provide another lamp at no charge to you but I will need your information for shipping. Contact me directly at jstoneburner1@juno.com
Sincerely yours,
Dr. Jon Stoneburner

Thanks for your quick response to Ozzy, Dr. Stoneburner.

I do notice, though, that the voltage converter, which is very reasonably priced, BTW, doesn't show up as being needed if you click on the links on the front page that take you to the treatments for the individual conditions. I'll bet that's why she didn't see that it would be needed.

You might consider changing your site to accommodate that so as to avoid this sort of situation with other folks outside the US. The way to see the voltage converter and the notice is to click on the "Order Now" buttons rather than the individual ones.

Ozzy, you can get 'Step Down Transformers' from many electronics stores here in Aus and even places like Dick Smith and Tandy. I work for a company that sells them as well (I wont post ads on here though), they are used for all imported devices that run on 110v (US) or 100v (JPN).

The type you will need is 240v -> 110v and I am presuming the wattage is very low (for a light), so you should be right with a fairly cheap and small one!

I think its a good idea that Rajah posted about the option to purchase one of these with the unit, or even perhaps a special note/email to the recipient if they are outside of the US warning that they will need a step down transformer and the option to have the included one removed from the package to save shipping costs? (if Imulux Pres. is still reading)

By the way, when you get it all working, please post back here your experiences as I am very interested as are most other people around here by the looks of it!

   Dear Tedsta,
Your comments are appreciated and will be implemented immediately.

Re; individual experiences.
I have a suggestion that might work for all. If someone would like to experience the Imulux protocol at no charge they can have their doctor contact me directly. I will provide a free kit to their doctor who can examine the patient pre-treatment and re-examine after the Imulux protocol has beed administered by the patient at home. The patient (board member) can post their experience here for all to see.
This informal trial might be beneficial for all.
Sincerely yours,
Dr. Stoneburner

I certainly don't see a problem with that as long as people recognize that anecdotal evidence is not a replacement for independent double blind studies.

I am understanding that people should have their regular MD or Primary Care Physician request the treatment directly from you which you will ship to the Physician at no charge. Of course the people are welcome to post their experiences here.

Well...I am having another outbreak after my second imulux treatment. I have done it to the letter, and still no success. I am not posting an "angry" comment like others I have seen, because I definately believe after talking to you that you seem very sincere in helping people, but for some reason, doesnt seem to be working for me. If there are any suggestions, I would be very open to them.

   Dear Chocolate,
Please give me a call and lets find an answer. I have had incidents in which several treatments are required for success although unusual. Apparently you have had some success in that it heals much faster but we want permanent remission. Don't give up as I feel we will find success.
Sincerely yours,
Dr. Stoneburner

The lamp is blown, as the instructions I received were to the effect that I needed & different cord as in plug & when I bought the correct lead it ofcause blew the light.

So unless I receive a new light I shall be in the dark as they say.

Again 100% success to everyone is my wish.

In response to message #14

Well I have received my lamp etc this week, I have read Tedsta comments & will set about transforming the lamp.

I have had two ob this year & don't know when I will have another, I know I go into a sneezing fit a day before one.

This is the 3rd product I have spent money on & it will be the last, so God willing it will work.

I hope it is not a scam as only one testimonial that I have read I have believed & that led me to buy the product.

If it fails I will be put the desease out of my mind & just get on with life, in 29 years I have only had 5 or 6 ob ( yes confirmed by a doctor) for the first 22 years after the first one I had 2 ob.
I was told it was a urin tract infection, so you know what I didn't know I had it, that was the best thing that could have happened, you don't think about it & it doesn't hurt you.

Only through work stress etc in my 40,s did it come back, same as I remember all those years ago.

So forget about it, love yourselves & have fun, I drink coffee alohol etc it is only when I think about sleeping with someone (broke up from husband after 27 years, he never caught it I never used anything condoms etc) I get an ob, twice last year, twice this year.

The mind is so powerful, love yourself is the very first step.

Must go. Take care of yourselves.

Well I have had some time today & read a lot of the comments, it really seems like it is a scam.

The dye etc scares me a bit as I read someone said that it may cause cancer, very worrisom.

What about the long term effects of the dye?

I read the dye is just red dye & bleach, is this right, if so how does it cure?

Taking it slowly.

Ozzy

I've not read that. Where did that come up? I really doubt that's the case.

"I read the dye is just red dye & bleach, is this right, if so how does it cure?" Yes, that's right. It's an excellent question, Ozzy, in line with my thoughts, too. Have you looked at http://imulux.googlepages.com ? I think there are more questions than straight answers.

"Taking it slowly." Good idea. Keep us posted.

I'm only paying attention to this area peripherally, but did someone comment at some point (or maybe I was just wondering in my own mind!) does the ultraviolet light (rather than the dye) have any potential for harm? I mean, isn't ultraviolet light what we're supposed to avoid b/c of skin cancer? If you zap that on your privates as has been described, does that count as potential cancer-causing exposure, like being in the sun without sunscreen?

C.

It is an ultraviolet light, kind of like a little tanning bed in a way. I don't know how the intensity compares with sunlight. Perhaps the light isn't really needed if you've got sunlight and the dye with bleach in the right mixture. Just go out in the backyard and....Oh, wait a minute.. LOL

Well well well, I have looked at all the sites you suggested Rajah & boy, how bloody terrible if people will go to so much trouble to con people.

When I ordered the product I was desperate, I was in so much pain & couldn't think straight.

when the lamp arrived I would have used it right away, but because of as above I didn't.

During the time it took to receive another lamp I ended up finding out I had a back injury (causing a lot of pain round those regions), funny I know.

So being in a more sober frame of mind I am now being objective. Will want to hear from others about success before I use.

For now I am going to stick to my green tea & more veges, I have learnt a huge lesson for life, when in pain for any reason don't act on impluse, wait read & relax & take hope that every dog has it's day.

Yup. I couldn't agree more.

I'm sure that a lot of "alternative treatments" rely on that factor for a large portion of their sale.

>So being in a more sober frame of mind I am now being
>objective. Will want to hear from others about success
>before I use.
The problem there is how to know who's telling the truth and who isn't. Remember that four of the Imulux testimonials we had posted here originated from Dr. Stoneburner's cable modem IP address in Florida. As a friend of mine says in his signature line, "On the Internet, nobody knows you're a dog." I sometimes suspect our cat of using the computer while we're gone, too. She's quite familiar with the keyboard from her visits to my desktop when I'm trying to use the computer. I expect she has a MySpace account.

Just simply taking care of ourselves can sometimes go a long way in dealing with this sort of condition.

Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.

Well how do you work this out.
Imulux site product $289.78
I was sent a bill for $324.78 ok conversion
Just received my credit card statement & I am billed nearly $450.00, how do you work that out.

Also "Pleaseguideme" stated on 4.11 that she had a cyst(down there) of some sort, has she had one before treatment?

What does her DR say?

We must look at peoples long term health here...............

The conversion rate today: $1.00 US = $1.29 AU. So $289.78 US = $373.13 AU. Was there to be a shipping charge on that? $80 AU seems maybe a little bit high as I just sent 3 pounds to Japan for $36 AU.

I have had one cyst before, it was a bartholin's cyst. I did not go to the dr. this time but it was definately not herpes, but I cant tell you for sure exactly what it was.

I don't think that long term health is an issue in all honesty. Its a light and dye and whatever else is in the dye, but I feel it is basically harmless.

Just my opinion

1 week after another treatment...healed really fast...Dr. Stoneburner has been really nice in responding (again....after all my questions) and even sent me another light and med pack for free....it seems like even though the reviews have been very mixed and more on the negative side, I have to say that he seems very genuine in helping...I will admit this has been my 2nd treatment or 3rd treatment....I know, overly positive trying to deal with the H....but oh well...hopefully this time it works....if not....arghhhhhhhhhh

No disrespect taken. Basically Ozzy it's a purple/black light that you could probably get anywhere and some red dye. I personally just can't see how harmful it could possibly be. Just my opinion.

hello just letting you know my progress with imulux. first off i dont know if you have to eat right or be somewhat healthy but i was using the neveranoutbreak method. i cut out sodas candy ate alot of greens and green suppliments and if i ate meat is was baked chicken. and so after a while i had less outbreaks as long as i kept up my routine. however i missed all my junk food and looked for something else. i ate fried foods drank lots of alcohol etc and had a outbreak. i then tried imulux method and so far ive ate normal and havent had a outbreak since 9/5/08. i only used the solution once so i will keep u posted if anything happends
